Rediscovery of Lipstick Rose. I tried it back in February and did not like it. However this rose/violet/waxy scent is just whats in order six months later. Sweet, powdery, but not overly so like L’Heure Bleue feels at times due to the Guerlain-iade dry down. I like this a lot! Very “Femme”!! I’m going to have to explore the Malle’s further along with my quest to try every Guerlain that sounds interesting.
Tried drugstore fragrance Chantilly…at first it was OK, very nostalgic of some bygone era. But later it developed and I wished I hadn’t sprayed it while I was around others. It definitely was dominating the air that I breathed in and I feel as though I smelled like I’d stepped out of someone’s attic, old-school spicy reminiscent of the new formulation of Rochas Femme in the way it got into my sinuses. Not good.
